The FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE Scoreboard Show begins its 20th year with a network of radio stations that covers an area stretching from the top of the Texas Panhandle through the South Plains and Rolling Plains of West Texas. Friday Night Live focuses only on the teams from this area and is THE Scoreboard Show for game scores, records, standings and broadcaster game reports every Friday night of the season.

The flagship station for the Scoreboard Show is the only all-sports radio station in the Texas Panhandle, 102.9 the Sports Star in Amarillo. Network stations include Double T 97.3, the sports voice of Lubbock and the surrounding area, KLSR 105.3 FM in Memphis, which gives the Scoreboard a strong presence across the Southeastern Panhandle and Rolling Plains, and KSSL 107.3 and 94.1 in Slaton/Post which pushes our coverage area to the northern part of the Permian Basin. Completing the FNL coverage area is KEYE 93.7 FM in Perryton, KKYN 106.9 FM in Plainview, KNNK 100.5 FM out of Dimmitt and Hereford, KZZN 1490-AM in Littlefield and KGRW 94.7 FM in Friona.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE is hosted by veteran sports broadcaster Mike Roden, who has 40 years of experience covering sports in the Texas Panhandle. He is joined by broadcaster Charles Keaton of Littlefield, who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise on high school football to the table. Together they make the perfect tandem to give high school football fans exactly what they want to hear after the games on Friday night.

The most anticipated segment of our two-hour scoreboard each week is “Friday Night Live Headlines” with Nick Long. Nick was the host of the show for many years before moving back into the play-by-play booth a few years ago as the voice of the Estacado Matadors. Each week from 11 to 11:10 P.M., Nick runs down the list of top games of the night, which teams had the biggest upsets and more in his unique and enthusiastic style.

There is nothing quite like high school football in Texas and the FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE Scoreboard Show covers it in a professional, enthusiastic and entertaining way every Friday night from 10 P.M. to 12 A.M. on one of our affiliate stations listed above or online at tpsnsports.com.
