Day one of the Randy Keller Memorial Baseball Tournament was highlighted by two games at Hodgetown in downtown Amarillo.

In the first contest at the home of the Sod Poodles, the Randall Raiders rallied for three runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to stun C.I.S.D. rival Canyon 8-7.  The winning run scored on a walk with the bases loaded. Brayden Beck led the Raiders with two hits and two runs batted in.

After that, A.I.S.D. rivals Tascosa and Amarillo High took the field, with the Sandies shutting out the Rebels 5-0.  Spencer Thurman tossed a complete game, two-hit shutout.  At the plate, Memo Frausto had three hits and 2 RBI, plus Ryan Blackwell blasted a solo home run for Amarillo High.

The Tournament will resume on Saturday.  Among the games will be two more at Hodgetown as Palo Duro takes on Perryton at 1 p.m. and Caprock faces Dumas at 4 p.m.
