AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Tascosa Lady Rebels concluded their four-day girls soccer camp, allowing athletes from kindergarten to incoming freshmen the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game while getting a glimpse of what it takes to play at the next level.

The camp gives younger athletes the chance to sharpen their skills, compete alongside their friends and learn directly from the Lady Rebels coaching staff and players.

The program creates excitement around Tascosa soccer, keeps the next generation active and helps young athletes develop a better understanding of what it will be like to play on the soccer pitch as a future Lady Rebel.

Head coach Hutton Sharp said the camp provides a high-quality experience for young players.

“Really just giving kids the opportunity to come out and hang out and get the full kind of Tascosa girls soccer experience,” Sharp said.

“When they show up we do training sessions like we would normally do for the group and we also have a lot of fun so we try to really major on those. We may not have the biggest camp out there but I think our camp is really high quality so the kids walk away having a great time every year and it’s just super fun to see future Rebels come out.”
