AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Tascosa Rebels boys soccer program continued its four-day camp at Tascosa High School’s turf field, giving athletes from third grade to incoming freshmen the opportunity to learn or develop their soccer skills.

With help from Tascosa coaches, the camp allows young athletes to stay in shape through the summer while investing in the younger generation. The program creates an environment for the game of soccer and builds relationships for incoming freshmen on what it takes to play as a Rebel.

“All the middle school kids from different schools come and get to play in one group and get to kind of get to know me, and I get to know them, and they get to know each other,” a Tascosa coach said. “We took a tour of the campus earlier this week. And it’s just a really good kind of first couple steps coming into high school for those freshmen.”
