AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Brice Chaffin signed with Lubbock Christian University’s men’s soccer team on Wednesday.
The Canyon High School senior will join the Lone Star Conference program after helping lead the Eagles to an 11-8-3 record during his senior season.
Chaffin credited his family, friends and coaches with pushing him to compete at a high level.
“My parents, they push me. They’ve always been there no matter what,” Chaffin said. “I’ve had multiple coaches, collegiate coaches, club coaches, high school coaches, all those in between, they’ve all pushed me. My friends keep it fun for me. During all the practices, all those long hours after school, they keep the game fun for me and that’s mainly one of the reasons I love playing soccer.”
Lubbock Christian posted an 8-8-4 overall record in the 2025 season and went 5-2-3 in conference play.
