Tascosa baseball defeats Palo Duro 7-1 in district rivalry

The Rebels picked up the win over Palo Duro after a strong first inning, scoring five straight runs.

Palo Duro got on the board in the top of the sixth after Jabrelyn Wilson scored on a wild pitch.

Tascosa’s James Naylor led the team in RBIs with two, also recording a hit in two at-bats.

Zayden Brewer struck out eight batters for the Rebels while Domanik Mata recorded three.

Tascosa defeats Coronado 9-4 in softball

The Lady Rebels shined Friday, avenging their tough loss to Coronado earlier this season.

Tascosa got on the board first with two runs in the first frame, but Coronado responded right back with a run of their own.

The Lady Rebels hit their stride in the third and fourth innings, scoring six runs total to lengthen their lead.

Both Kelli Wendel and Vanessa Langeland hit home runs in the win.

Christmas Morris got it done in the circle, striking out four batters through seven innings.
