AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Texas High School Coaches Association released its Super Elite Team list and nine Panhandle athletes were named.
Girls selections
Nazareth’s Kambri Cleavinger was named Class 1A MVP. Teammate Madison Brockman was also named to the list.
Panhandle’s Riley Segura was named Class 2A MVP. Teammate Allie Ashley and Gruver’s Payton Merkel were also named to the list.
Canyon’s Kambrie Graser was named to the Super Elite Team in Class 4A.
Boys selections
Valley’s Kanyon Taylor was named to the Super Elite Team in Class 1A.

Gruver’s Mason Lankford was named to the list in Class 2A.
West Plains’ Kaden Hooker was named to the list in Class 4A.
Four Panhandle high school basketball teams won UIL state championships this past season: Nazareth girls, Panhandle girls, Panhandle boys and Valley boys.
