WACO, Texas (KFDA) - Three high school TAPPS tennis athletes won state titles Thursday in Waco.
Tinley Stauffer of Ascension Academy won the girls singles championship in Class 2A, defeating Claire Daykin of Bracken Christian School. Stauffer won every tournament she entered this season.
Blayne Robison and Alayna Daniel of San Jacinto Christian Academy won the girls doubles championship, defeating Emersyn Cross and Blair Wischmeyer of All Saints Episcopal School in Class 2A.
Girls team results
San Jacinto placed third overall in Class 2A with 13.5 points.
The Oaks Christian Academy placed third in Class 1A with 11.5 points.

Ascension Academy placed fifth in Class 2A with 11 points.
Holy Cross tied for 13th overall in Class 2A with one point. Accelerate Christian Academy tied for 15th in Class 1A with one point.
Boys team results
The Oaks Christian Academy placed second overall in Class 1A with 14 points.
Holy Cross placed fifth in Class 2A with six points. San Jacinto tied for 12th in Class 2A with two points.

Mixed doubles team competed in exhibitions, but not for state titles. Issac Kunkle and and Lilly Burton competed for Holy Cross and made it to the second round. Eliza Thomas and Samuel Silva competed for San Jacinto and were runner-ups.
