GRUVER, Texas (KFDA) - The Gruver Greyhounds picked up their sixth district win Saturday after taking down Sunray 8-1.
Briggs Satterfield got it done at the plate and on the mound, notching three RBIs, four hits, and two runs in four at-bats. He also struck out five batters, allowing one run off seven hits in six innings.
Christian Sauceda was responsible for the lone run for Sunray.
Bobcats’ pitcher Valen Swinford pitched four innings, allowing four runs off three hits while striking out seven batters.
