AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Tascosa Rebels put together a dominant offensive performance Friday, rolling past San Jacinto Christian Academy 15-2 in district action. Holden True paced the attack with a pair of triples that accounted for four RBIs.
The Rebels wasted no time getting started, manufacturing a run in the opening frame on aggressive baserunning that resulted in a steal of home.
Offensive barrage in middle innings
Tascosa broke the game open with back-to-back explosive innings. The second inning saw five runs cross the plate, sparked by Xian Vasquez’s two-run triple and True’s RBI triple. Another steal of home and an error rounded out the scoring.
The third inning proved even more productive as the Rebels plated seven runs. True delivered his biggest blow of the day with a bases-clearing triple that drove in three. Reese Cabe contributed an RBI by getting hit by a pitch, while Sam Adams and Jaxon Armstrong each came through with run-scoring singles.
Pitching and defense seal victory
David Gordon set the tone on the mound for the Rebels, tossing three scoreless innings while scattering just one hit. He struck out two and walked one in the winning effort.

The Rebels’ offense collected 13 hits total, with True, Braedan Lineman and Armstrong each recording two. Tascosa played flawless defense, committing zero errors while swiping seven bases to keep pressure on San Jacinto throughout.
San Jacinto managed just three hits from Blake Kerley, Logan Czesnowski and Blu Ledford.
The Rebels hit the road Tuesday for a matchup at Monterey.
