AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The 75th Annual Amarillo Relays will take place March 27 and 28 with field events and running preliminaries on Friday and running finals on Saturday.
All field events are finals.
Varsity field events — Friday
Varsity field events begin at 10:30 a.m. with varsity boys high jump at the South Pit, varsity boys discus at the South Ring, varsity boys long jump at the South Pit and varsity girls long jump at the North Pit.
Additional varsity field events are scheduled at 12:30 p.m. with varsity girls high jump at the South Pit and varsity girls discus at the South Ring. Varsity boys shot put begins at 2 p.m. at the North Ring, followed by varsity girls shot put at 3:30 p.m. at the North Ring.
Varsity field events — Saturday
Varsity field events begin at 10 a.m. with varsity boys pole vault. Varsity girls pole vault is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Wheelchair shot put is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the North Ring. Varsity boys triple jump and varsity girls triple jump are scheduled for 11 a.m. at the South Pit and North Pit.

JV field events — Friday
JV field events begin at 10:30 a.m. with JV girls high jump at the North Pit and JV girls discus at the North Ring.
Additional JV field events are scheduled at 12:30 p.m. with JV boys high jump at the North Pit, JV boys discus at the North Ring, JV boys long jump at the South Pit and JV girls long jump at the North Pit. JV boys shot put begins at 2 p.m. at the South Ring, followed by JV girls shot put at 3:30 p.m. at the South Ring.
JV pole vault is scheduled for 5 p.m. when the wind is expected to settle. JV boys will vault in the NW Upper complex and JV girls on the track floor.
JV field events — Saturday
JV field events include JV boys triple jump and JV girls triple jump at 1 p.m. at the South Pit and North Pit.
Running events — Friday
Running preliminaries begin at 10:30 a.m. with the 3200-meter run finals for JV and varsity divisions. The Diamond 400-meter relay final is set for 12:20 p.m., followed by preliminaries for the 400-meter relay, 800-meter run, hurdles, 100-meter dash, 800-meter relay, Diamond 50-meter run, 400-meter dash, 300-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash and 1600-meter relay.

Running events will proceed in order of JV girls, varsity girls, JV boys and varsity boys. A change in running order for preliminaries will have the JV 100-meter dash followed by JV hurdles on the east side only. Varsity girls and boys hurdles and 100-meter dash will run on the west track.
Six athletes will advance to finals in each division for relay and individual running events. Twelve athletes will advance to finals in the 800-meter run.
Running events — Saturday
Running finals begin at 11 a.m. with the 8th grade girls 2400-meter run. Eighth grade girls will go first in all events, followed by JV girls, varsity girls, 8th grade boys, JV boys and varsity boys. Eighth grade boys will run their 2400-meter run after the 8th grade girls.
The 400-meter relay finals begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by the 8th grade boys 2400-meter run, 800-meter run, hurdles, 100-meter dash, 800-meter relay, 400-meter dash, 300-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash, 1600-meter run and 1600-meter relay. A trophy presentation will follow.
