AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The No. 14 Randall Lady Raiders defeated West Plains 4-3 in a district softball game Thursday.

In the bottom of the first inning, Teagan Beck grounded out to short, but Bella Wineburg scored from third to put the first run on the board for West Plains. Beck would be the only Lady Wolf to have an RBI.

The Lady Wolves tried to add more, but Jazz Quigley recorded one of her four strikeouts of the day to keep them off the board. Alyssa Navarrete came in to relieve Quigley and recorded five strikeouts.

In the top of the third inning, Tatum Gibson sent a ball down the left field line. Nova Kinkade got the wave around third from coach Watson, but the Lady Wolves worked the ball back to the infield and the throw home was in time to get Brooklyn Stach to end the inning.

Emma Cuellar had two RBIs, a run and a hit in four at-bats for the Lady Raiders.

Jaylen Kaps recorded 13 strikeouts in the loss, allowing four runs and four hits.
