AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - West Plains defeated Randall 10-3 Tuesday, using a six-run second inning to take control after the Raiders scored three in the first.

Randall got on the board early when Braylen Preciado hit a solo home run to right field and Brekken Ireland doubled to drive in two runs for a 3-0 lead.

West Plains answered in the bottom of the second with six runs on five hits to go ahead 7-3, highlighted by Noah Vasquez’s three-run double. The Wolves finished with 11 hits on the day, with Elijah Vasquez going 3-for-3 and Boston Ladd and Kade Schneider each adding multiple hits.

Jesse Flores earned the win for West Plains, allowing three runs on four hits over five innings with three strikeouts and four walks. Kaison Kauk took the loss for Randall after giving up seven runs on seven hits in two innings.

Ireland went 2-for-3 and led Randall with two RBIs.

Randall plays at home Friday against Pampa.
