Moreno credits coaches, paves way for future athletes
Moreno expressed her gratitude for being the one to lay the foundation for future track and field athletes from the West Plains community, paving the way for others to continue on to the next level. She also credited her coaches for their guidance and support throughout her entire track and field career.
“I feel extremely proud of myself but also proud of how much the school has overcome and all my coaches are such a great help for me. They’ve been supporting me throughout my whole track career and a lot of emotions come out with this,” Moreno said.
Moreno said she is grateful for the path that has led her to this moment.
“I’m very blessed and grateful that God has this path for me and I’m living it,” she said.
