AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - District 4-4A doubleheaders took place with Pampa visiting West Plains, resulting in split victories.
Lady Harvesters pull upset
In the girls game, Pampa showed resilience to earn the district victory.
Pampa’s Emma Boutsamaly attempted a three-pointer that didn’t fall, but Tamblynn Moss grabbed the rebound and finished the put-back layup.
Boutsamaly made a defensive impact when West Plains had the ball. She got a breakaway steal with quick hands and took it all the way to the hoop for the Lady Harvesters.
West Plains responded on offense when the ball was thrown to Dakota Montoya in the corner. Montoya skipped it to Brenyn Treat on the opposite wing. Treat used a pump fake, dribbled inside and hit the mid-range jumper.
