AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Caprock lost both games of a district basketball doubleheader at home on Tuesday, with the Lady Horns falling 72-34 to Plainview and the boys losing 65-52.

Lady Horns unable to slow down Lady Bulldogs

In the third quarter, Plainview’s Khloe Eastman found Santana Garner down low, and Garner used footwork to create space before scoring off the glass.

Caprock’s Mahlia Loredo created a turnover and raced down court on a fast break. The Lady Horns recovered defensively to stop the initial break, but Loredo kept her dribble alive and attacked open space for a layup.

The loss drops Caprock to 1-6 in district play.
