AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Canyon High School basketball star Kambrie Graser signed her National Letter of Intent with Lubbock Christian University on Monday morning.
Graser, a four-year varsity player, has helped guide the Lady Eagles to a 12-1 record this season while maintaining Canyon’s status as the top-ranked Class 4A girls basketball team in Texas.
The senior guard said the opportunity to continue playing basketball at the college level holds special meaning for her.
“It means a lot to me. I’m excited to be able to take the next step and just continue my basketball career doing something I love,” Graser said.
“I’ve learned team basketball and just how to make the smart plays all the time, just playing with the team, just being a good teammate mainly.”

Building skills for the next level
Graser credited Canyon’s practice regimen with preparing her for college basketball, particularly the team’s emphasis on shooting drills.
“I would say how much shooting we do. It just helps build our skills which helped lead to the next level,” she said.
The signing continues Canyon’s tradition of developing college-level talent while the Lady Eagles maintain their position as a state powerhouse in Class 4A competition.
