AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Only two teams remain on the hunt for a state championship after becoming regional champions in their respective 2A divisions: West Texas High and Gruver.
West Texas High back in state semifinals for first time in 30 years
The Comanches remain undefeated and look to keep it that way as they face Hamilton on Thursday.

The win over Cisco Friday evening gave the Comanches their 14th straight win, which ties their season win record all time.
They will be competing in their third state semifinal game and first this century (previous appearances were in 1989 and 1995).

Gruver back in state semifinals for second straight season
Despite not winning their district, the Greyhounds have made their way through the playoffs and get to face Muenster, last year’s state champion, for the second straight season.
