AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The high school volleyball regular season has concluded, with five area teams winning their districts and earning top seeds heading into postseason play.
Amarillo High went undefeated in District 3-5A play, winning all 16 district matchups. The Lady Sandies have now won 67 straight district games and will be the number one seed in DI.
District 4-4A ended in a two-way tie between West Plains and Randall after both teams picked up wins Saturday. The Lady Wolves and Lady Raiders are co-champions, with West Plains earning the number one seed in DI and Randall taking the top seed in DII.
Bushland claimed the District 1-3A championship once again. The defending state champions went undefeated in district play and have now won 105 straight district games. The Lady Falcons will be the number one seed in DI.
Sanford Fritch captured the District 1-2A title after going undefeated in district play this season. The Lady Eagles earned the number one seed in DI.
