HEREFORD, Texas (KFDA) - Hereford athletics during the 2024-25 seasons shined, with one athlete winning a state title and other teams making the playoffs.

One of the biggest storylines out of Hereford was the introduction of both varsity girls and boys soccer teams.

Whiteface boys athletic director, Adam Naron, says it’s the “Herd Pride Never Dies” mentality that keeps the school so successful and motivated.

“When you watch a Hereford team compete, they’re gonna fight hard all the way till the very end, no matter what the score is,” he said. “I think that’s very indicative of what our community stands for and what our athletic programs stand for. We say, ‘Herd Pride Never Dies,’ and I think those kids really take that to heart. You know, having that pride to be from Hereford and and compete for their hometown, whether it’s in a district game, a scrimmage, a summer league game, or if it’s at the highest level of competition at the state tournaments, you’re going to see our kids fighting really hard.”
