AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The regular season is winding down and Amarillo High has already wrapped up the district title and the number one seed in 5A Division One heading into the playoffs.
Palo Duro has also clinched a playoff berth but is still battling Lubbock-Cooper for the top seed in the 5A Division Two playoff bracket.
However, the Dons would also love to hand the Sandies their first and possibly their only district loss of the season.
The two teams meet Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Palo Duro in the next-to-last game of the regular season.
