AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Amarillo High basketball teams will take on Monterey tonight in a doubleheader that will be streamed live on tpsnsports.com.
The girls contest will feature two top ten ranked teams, number one Monterey and 9th ranked Amarillo High.
A win by the Lady Plainsmen would keep them in sole possession of first place with two games left.
A victory by the Lady Sandies would move AHS into a tie for the district lead with just one game left on their schedule.
It could be a three-way tie if AHS beats Monterey and Tascosa wins at Lubbock-Cooper.

The Amarillo High boys team will try to stay undefeated in district play. However, the Plainsmen are in the playoff chase and took the Sandies to overtime in their first meeting.
