AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Former Amarillo High School Sandies’ track coach Joe Bain passed away Sunday night.
Coach Bain was the Sandies’ track coach from 1976-2006, winning a regional championship in 1989.
Coach Bain also won 16 district championships, with 10 of those being consecutive.
Bain was also an assistant football coach under Larry Dippel.
